My name is Mel and I am a Personal Trainer, Fitness Tutor and Program Creator. I am a mom of two and I have over 25 years experience in the Dance and Fitness industry!
A Bit About Me
I was a professional Salsa dancer, travelling the globe, teaching, performing and DJing (yes I said DJing!) until I had my daughter in 2011. In addition to teaching, I also worked in HR during the day.
When I had my daughter, I knew that I couldn’t go back to my day job so teaching became my full-time career!
Fitness During Pregnancy
When I was pregnant, I looked for classes in my area but apart from Pregnancy Yoga, which was about a twenty-minute drive away, there was nothing!
Fast forward 3 years to when I had my son and guess what, still nothing!
I have a real passion for teaching and I have a lot of experience being a mom, plus I taught up until I was 8.5 months pregnant with both of my children so I decided if there are no classes for me to attend, I’ll just have to teach them myself!
So I decided to go back to studying and I qualified as a Pre/Post-Natal Specialist and a Children’s Fitness Instructor in 2015. Many other qualifications followed and I became a Freelance Fitness Tutor for Train Fitness in 2017.

I teach group fitness classes (click here to see my timetable) I offer 1-1 sessions for all (online as well), including mums to be and those returning to fitness after having their little bundle of joy!
