I’ve been at an incredible Fitness event all weekend called Fit Jam where I got to showcase my Dance Fitness program Beatz to nearly 250 people!
Emma P and Rosie D also presented at the This Girl Can event in Birmingham with over 800 people in attendance!

I run multiple fitness businesses and Beatz Fitness is my latest venture!
Here’s a video of the Saturday class that we taught, totally mind-blowing experience teaching that many people!
It was an amazing experience and I was completely exhausted at the end of it! This made me think about the amount of time I’ve burnt the candle at both ends whilst working on multiple businesses and when I’ve made myself ill as a result.
I’ve done this so many times that I can feel when it is creeping up on me and I know when to slam on the brakes and cut myself some slack! I’m also very lucky that I have a great team in place that will kick my ass if I don’t get some rest!
Time goes by so quickly and everyone always seems to be in such a rush that we forget to stop and actually take in what is going on around us and enjoy the fruits of our labour!
Rest is also incredibly vital to a healthy lifestyle and that’s is why we encourage our students to have a rest day in between weights and not to overdo it on the exercise front!
Listen to your body, it will tell you when it feels that it is working too hard! Rest when you need to, eat and drink well and that healthy lifestyle that you are working towards will soon be yours!

1 x Banana
Handful of frozen blueberries
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
½ Teaspoon of Grated Ginger
Cup of Coconut Water
Handful of Spinach
